If it is still apart, measure from the pressure plate mounting surface to the friction surface of the flywheel. this distance is critical. If the mounting surface was turnd down more than the friction surface, it will cause the fingers to be way in and the adjustment maxed out. Also if the fork to rod fastners are bent or worn it will allow the outside lever, to move much farther than it should. Remember a worn disk will make the rod need to be shorter, the opposite of what is happening. Jim
