I do not know the model number of the sickle mower I have on my BA. Half B half A. I built the tractor out of 2 junk Bs and an A. Reason I did was I had the sickle mower that fit the A sop figured why not. As for making the front end light I have not noticed it a bit. Ya if I did as the other guy say yes you would in fact notice it a lot. Many years ago I took 2 or 3 old sickle mowers and build a belly mounted one for a B I had way back when. I used a Chev power steering pump for the hyds to lift it up and it was still working well when I traded it off
