I would not recommen using a SA on a 3 pt hay rake. We have a 6 wheel 3 pt and run it on a 340 utility. It makes the front end a little light, but it works okay. The 340u is a lot heavier then a SA. We had a pull type bar rake that we used behind the SA, but it was to slow going. THe A would pull it, but in the hills we had to down shift to 2nd gear. We pull the wheel rake in road gear when the field is straight and level, otherwise 4th.
