The drawbar turns around and bolts to the front drawbar bolt holes, not the normal holes where the drawbar is attached when facing rear. You control the plow depth by adjusting the drawbar up and down. Also to get started, the drawbar has to be in a low position, so the plow point will dig in. There is supposed to be a control rod that attaches to the touch control to adjust the drawbar, but those usually are gone. I did had one and did in manually. Once you get it set it will work. There are also some eccentric bolts in the hitch that ajust the side to side tilt of the plow, which need to set so the plow share is level when at plowing depth and the wheel in the furrow. The lift chain attaches directly to the rockshaft arm that is on the fenders. I never saw one that had a separate bar to attach it between the rockshaft arms. The one I once had was a two way plow and had a special rockshaft arm that could drop only one side at a time. Each of the two plows attached to the rockshaft arm on the side the plow was on.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
