I see two issues with this, aside from the magnet getting stuck between some gears as you drop it in:
1. If the metal filings/particles are stuck to the magnet you can't flush them out.
2. If you're getting THAT many metal filings, seems to me something is very very wrong with your tractor. Might want to check into that and get it fixed before something major goes wrong.
