I acquired a C about a month ago that has a 3 point hitch on it. It sounds like the one you describe. Mine has slots in the rear of the arms that go to the back of the tractor allowing the lift to float. There is also a hole in the arms that you can use if you want down pressure. On mine, the arms are offset out far enough that they do not interfere with the brake pedals, although they are pretty close. My main complaint is that it is VERY inconvenient to get on and off the tractor. Those lift bars are really in the way!
