A 12' Hesston mower/conditioner is HEAVY and the lift mechanism is a pi$$ poor design. Dad's got the CaseIH version. The 856 won't lift it all the way up, even with a new pump. The 1066 BARELY lifts it and I think it's set for 2000 PSI.
The only tractor that will lift it is the Maxxum, and I think that has a 2500 or 3000 PSI hydraulic system.
Even with a new pump and a high pressure relief valve it may not be enough to lift the mower.
On the 766, it might have a hydraulic seat or it might not. Most of them have mechanical seats that I've seen.
The valve stack will bolt right into the 756. They are identical for all practical purposes. No need to go further than that.
