Ok guys...bail me out here. My Super H gets stuck in one gear every once in a while. The first time it happened I think it may have been stuck in 2 gears. The shifter would move easily, but it wouldn't alter the configuration of things in the gearbox. I finally got is sorted out by moving the shifter through all the gears and moving the shifter quickly. There seems to be more "play" in the shift lever than there should be, but I don't have anything to compare it to except my Cub and a JD 4020. Anyway, sifting through the old posts, I come up with possibly a bent shifter fork...but what else?? I'm sure the gear oil hasn't been changed in a long while, so I have 6 gallons ready to go in when I have the chance to change it. Could that be a contribting factor? Come on guys...give me your best guess...I really don't want to take the tranny cover off yet...thanks...BB
