Great, Sir. I had suspected that but again wanted to ask before doing something unnecessary and stupid. I had removed the three 1/2-13 x 1 1/2" bolts located at approx. 10, 4 and 7 o'clock on the governor housing. I gave it a couple of medium swats with a plastic mallet, but again didn't want to break something before knowing if there were more fasteners or other items that need to be removed before the assembly can be pulled away from the block. I suspect then it is just stuck on the gasket.
