Mark, Thanks for the information. I think I'm pretty much sold on looking for a 300/350U now. Dick turned me onto one up in Medina, although it needs a new head gasket. I've done them on cars before, but not on a tractor. He said it also needs points. Shouldn't be too hard, atleast they aren't on a car. I don't really have my tools arranged in the barn yet to where I could work on it, so repairing it would have to wait til Spring probably. Of course, that's if I buy it. He wants $1000 which probably isn't a bad price, but I haven't seen it yet, so til then....... Again, thanks for the info. NOw I have to look around on the web and see about finding a head gasket and points, and what they cost.
