The TA delete is probably a plus on a tractor that old. I rarely use mine because I rarely do heavy field work - its mostly mowing and baling. Live PTO, live hydraulics and the tractor is VERY fuel efficent - especially when its not being worked hard (like on a plow). I can get a tank of fuel to last 8-10 hours easily and still have some left when putting up hay.
The down side is the hydraulic reservor is small and runs out of fluid fast (mine can't lift a 33 loader to its full height (big cylinders)) and the hydraulics are slow compared to more modern tractors. Once you are in the seat there are lots of places to hit your elbows on hard unyealding metal surfaces - like the PTO handle.
Finding equipment for the 2 point is hit and miss. Sometimes you can get something really cheap because its 2 point sometimes you pay through the nose. My 1000 balanced head mower was only $200, other sales I've seen them go for $800 - $900. The Danuser rear blade and my plow were at the same auction and sold for near scrap price - other sales they sell for a couple $100 or more.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
