IF you are going to plow ON LAND and you have mostly flat ground to play on then the 1586 will haul 7 bottoms with no problem . Our 1066 over here in the humps and bumps plays with 5 bottoms in the furrow and if we went to onland then that plow your looking at would be a perfect match for a 1066 , a friend ten miles to the west of us pulls 7x18 720 onland with a 1466 and pulls them in first high . Our soil type varys from tough clay knobs to sand to muck to nice top soil and we run first high in SOD ground at 10 inches . So stop worrying .
