Hi Sam, I think you confused some people when you put the hyphen before -battery that they took as ground. The two drawing's are the same as long as your hyphen is not indicating a ground. What they have is two batterys wired in parallel to give more starting amps and that is the way your tractor is wired but just with the soleniod in the middle. If they were wired in series (neg to pos to neg to pos =24v) then you would have 24v and the same amps. T_Bone
