Hey Bob, I guess my gear is different than others. My crankshaft gear (see pic) has no timing marks. I have a picture in my manual so will have to go by that. Only thing I can figure out to get the timing right is get TDC on No 1, put the camshaft gear on and check to see if I have compression on No 1. Any better ideas I would love to hear them. Next question. Is this next pic an oil flinger? Goes between the crank pulley and crankshaft pinion gear. I hope it is because it's not available for sale anywhere. Thing is, how does that fling oil? I guess if that is the oil flinger I won't question how it works.Thanks in advance.
