You say the main clutch is holding? then the sprag in the TA is the one slipping. Low TA is driven by a one way clutch(sprag) and does not need oil to make it pull, slipping on the high side is caused by low oil pressure or improperly adjusted linkage. Either way a new TA is in your future.
