I've just purchased a 1948 Cub with no PTO, just a steel plate. I plan to use it for minor snow plowing and lawn mowing so I'm not bothered by the backwards V-belt PTO situation, but no PTO at all really cramps my style. I'm not familiar with the Cub and don't know what's involved in installing a PTO but it looks fairly straight forward. Where can I get one? Does anyone out there have an extra? "Wardner" responded too a discussion item back in July with an aftermarket Std. rotation & speed PTO. Does anyone have experience with the usefullness of this item? It seems to me that the cub doesn't have much power for standard PTO implements.
