I agree with others who think it will look better bare. Originally they were painted along with the rest of the tractor. I especially like the look of the freshly sandblasted cast iron carb bodys and the brass...all clean and clear-coated to keep them from corroding. To H**l with original...they look nice! I also think black starters and generators look better, even though they weren't that way originally. Its your tractor, do it the way you like best.
