the plate should be in framewark of the gas tank support. It may have been lost somewhere along the way. You may be able to find the serial number on the block of the engine. If you find a book that has serial numbers in it, look under the swd9 and the wd9 and see if that helps. Assuming it is the original engine, the number on the block should be the same as the tractors serial number.

Is there any reminents of the wd-9 sticker on the front of the hood? If the sticker has a white backgroundwith red letters, the tractor is a super, if it has a red background with white letters, it is not.
