have a 1930 reg. that im restoring , bought a complete engine from a 1930 tractor (which is serial numbered not much earlier then my engine) for a few parts i needed, took off gov. linkage because my original on is cracked in half just behind carb., found that the donor is different , the way it bolts to carb. and linkage shaft that goes into carb. also noticed cyl. head on donor has mounting holes in front , original dont,can anyone share some info on these differances , changes , dates, ect. what els differant my i run into ,ive restored many Farmalls from the 40s but this is my first on these early ones , and information seems to be exsperance not a book , thanks for any knowlegde you can share
