Start with your idle adj. 1 & 1/2 turns out and your main jet at 1 turn out. I found that if you basically forget about the manual and adjust your carb acording to what the exhaust looks like, you'll be OK. My f20 has a recent overhaul, and
runs good with the idle adj. at 2 turns out and the main jet at 1 turn out. The exhaust color is
tan, as soon as it warms up good.This setting is
probably leaner than some, but I installed hardened valve seats, so it can be run lean without burning them.
