Well Cub fans I have figured it out! It wasn't the timing, carb, wires, plugs or any of the replacement parts. It is a bad ignition switch that some times fails depending on where or how far it pulls out. I discovered it this morning when playing with it after a hard starting session. It was running and when I bumped it(the switch) before pushing it in the tractor began to quit. My goodness, what a time I have had the past few weeks trying to solve the problem. Keep up the good work and I really enjoy the posted discussions. Don Holden
