I have both. Both have 123 engines BUT you cant put a 3 1/4 overbore kit in a 200 and you cannot in the 230 unless you bore the block. For some reason the bottom of the bore on the 230 is tapered and is smaller on the bottom then the top. The RPS is higher on the 230 which gives it a little more HP. The touch control was optional and is better then the standard valves on the 230. 1st gear is a little faster and the 200 (in my opinion) has a better fast hitch. The tube frame has an opening underneath for some reason. Other then that I don't see a difference, both good little tractors. And if your pulling you can legally get 200 more RPM's then a 200. Also one more thing, the head is diffent, has larger valves. The left front corner of the head is square where the 200 is rounded just like the right side
