When you put the seals in the bolster you get two pieces of pipe that will fit over the bolster shaft and the outside of the pipe is the same size as the seal and then you slide the two pipes on the bolster shaft and then place the seal on top and raise the shaft up in place and put the nut on to hold it. Then you slide the top pipe up to push the seal up to where it is suppose to be and use the bottom pipe as a slide hammer. When you do it that way the seal is square and goes right in with no bending.
