wind chill has no affect on gelling. if the wind chill is -40 going down the road but the air temp is -10. the fuel will not be any colder than -10. the wind will lower the temp faster but it can't low the temp below the air temp. fuel is an inanimate object which is not affected by wind chill. wind-chill is the temperature we "feel" because of moisture evaporating from our skin. The heat to evaporate the moisture comes from our skin and causes the temp to drop to the "wind-chill" temperature right at the skin surface. That's why an inanimate object (something not alive) will not "feel" wind-chill.
