Yes even the IT manual which covers many farmall models state that the late pulleys only have 1 mark on them for TDC. No other marks needed as no chance you will confuse it with another.
That said if you want to use a timing light then you still have to follow the instructions that I outlined which I think is the best way to accurately time one.
