Yep, my 986 is not worked enough and probably needs new rings as it uses more oil than I like it to during planting season. About a quart after 16 hours work pulling the planter. Oil pressure is good and steady plus no noises or heating or any other problem. Oil usage has remained constant so I will put off doing the rings for this coming season.
