They are different.
They look the same to the untrained eye, from a distance.
The H/M/300/450 style fenders are much flatter and smaller. They do not extend above the tire.
The 460/560 fenders have a much more pronounced curve to them, and are much larger. They extend above and a little bit out over the tire.
You can buy new H/M style fenders, but your only choice for the 460/560 style is to find a used original set. There is a set on ebay right now but they want a lot of money for them and they will not ship. No good to you unless your're desperate and local.
The 340, 460, and 560 fenders have the same overall size and shape, and mount the same way. The clamshell style fenders from a 504 will also fit, but are not 100% "correct" because they have grab handles.
240 and 404 fenders are also the same basic size and shape, but they mount differently. I think someone creative could figure out a way to mount them on a 560.
