Hi Joe, 276 is a newer version of B-275. It can either be Diesel or Gas. The BD-144 is about 33 PTO HP with glow plug start. The transmission should be 4F-1R with Hi/Lo shift on left side of transmission shifter giving 8F-2R gears. It has live PTO with a 2 stage clutch, depress clutch 1/2 down transmission stops all the way down stops PTO and transmission. When you depress the clutch 1/2 way down, you will feel sort of neutral spot before it becomes more difficult to depress the clutch all the way down.
