Well, we just got socked good yesterday and last night here in Genesee County Michigan. (One hr N. of Detroit). Any way, we had 17 inches of snow...I cleared twice last evening with the old 140, and once this morning. The snow was 4 feet high in some drifts. The old gal chugged right thru them in first and second gear. In fact, I started getting impatient, and even used 3rd gear for the long run up the drive. I got a front and rear blade hooked up. I been waiting for 2 years for enough snow to really give'er a workout. Well we got it. Snow emergency..no work, no schools, and no driving..they send you home with a $50 ticket if your on the streets while they're trying to plow. I live on a dirt road, and I usually don't see a plow around here when 4 inches fall, so I'm not holding my breath. I had her cranked up for three hours this morning..everything run hunky-dory, except the hydraulics made a little buzz sometimes, but I was running like mad. Went over and helped the gent next door..he had an 8N..I had to do the heavy work for him, heh heh. But his looks better than my 140 which has been painted all yellow. I gotta figure a way to make the front blade go down farther..it just skims..I wanted it to scrape. Great fun...I'll be back at it in the morning...geo n

A copse of wildbreaking silver birch and oak trees surround the top si
