Wasn't there a HS teacher or coach with a prosthetic leg at that time? I played on the radar site basketball team and we played against a guy like that.
Used to hunt with the Pedersons (sp?) that ran a gas station, I think Phillips 66. After the silo was filled on the ranch, I got a PT job at the Pastime bar... nice older couple, but do not remember their names.
