I have a friend who tried to put a live pump for a Super H onto his 1941 H and found it wouldn't fit. It turns out the cam gear is a bit larger (or maybe heavier duty) on the Super H and this made the hole in the large plate where the pump gear would go through too small on his 41 H. Apparently IH beefed up the cam shaft to handle a hydraulic pump.
