Ernie: I'd agree with your great tractor/two people to steer comment. But it doesn't look as though you're getting a really clear roadmap on how to install power steering easily (and cheaply) from this forum, so far at least. So I'll tell you what I did. On mine, which is one of the older ones before they "improved" the steering, I got great improvement by just greasing the heck out of the linkages, taking it out and working it, regreasing, repeat and repeat over a period of a month or so, and making sure the steering gear box was full of gear oil - amazing what lubrication can do. Results aren't great, but better than the two people/one gorilla situation before doing all the lubrication. Now to the point where one reasonably strong guy (me?) has no problem steering it. Good luck - if you come up with a good power steering idea, please post it.
