For easier craigslist searching, try a site called searchtempest.
You need to plug in your zip code, a search radius in miles, and a keyword for what you're looking for.
When the search comes up, switch to "DIRECT RESULTS MODE." This will pop up two windows, one with a control panel and another with your local craigslist, and the results of your search.
From the control panel you can switch from craigslist to craigslist, and it will automatically run your search on each site, and show you the latest results. It goes in order of distance, from near to far.
Don't just plug in "20.8x38" because people don't always type things the same way. Try "20.8" or even "tractor tires." Sometimes people don't even spell tractor right, so your search will miss them. There's a local guy who insists on spelling it "tractore" and wonders why nothing he has sells.
Even though I use searchtempest, I still pick the 3-4 closest craigslist sites and manually scan the farm section every day when I'm looking for something. You just never know how people will describe something.
Be prepared to deal with idiots. It's the price of freedom.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
