I live in Northern New York and have a "portable garage" right now covering my M. It's open on both ends and lets a fair amount of snow and some rain in, it is far less than if it were completely exposed but it does get touched by the weather thanks to the wind some times. I was planning on stick building one and using heavy duty canvas tarps with a hook system (something like what people use on their stanchion barns) to cover the ends.
My advice, build one, much cheaper from what I have seen ($1,000 vs. $2,500+) and you can build it to your exacting specs. Good luck, ~Anthony
