I intend to do just that Jimmy. Bought the tractor some 30 years ago as a basket case (engine was froze up), removed the engine and found a busted piston. While the frame, tranny and final drive, still sit out in the weeds, the engine parts are in my pole building. My last kid graduated in 2012, and since then, have been collecting the necessary parts to restore it. Have gotten a good gas tank, carb., etc.
Still have some more items to get, but not much. May need a crank, and I'm sure the mains are junk. Rods are good, and the sleeves don't look worn bad at all. Mag is iffy, and I am missing the starting tank and bracket.
Right now, I have my '48 "H" all apart and doing an overhaul. Figured I would do the "H" first as I need it for bush hogging and the garden work. Besides, parts are easier to get, and it has rubber tires.
