I parked my 200 after the peas and corn were laid by and ran it very little. About Thanksgiving time last fall I needed to get it going to move some limbs and some other chores and I wanted to get the cultivator tool bars off for painting. It would not even try to start . . . no fire. You guys told me to clean the points and I put it on the round-to-it list. It came up today. I charged up the battery and used a very fine grit sand paper just lightly to file the points. (I haven"t seen my points file in years.) The first time I filed I checked the amp meter when I switched it on and there was a definite show of "discharge" which let me know it was clearly a points issue. Using the starter I rolled it over a few times and it was back to no discharge. I repeated the process until it sparked on every break. Put the distributer cap back on and it fired right up. Thanks for the help. If I had not been so stubborn I would not have a new coil on the tractor with an old coil now in storage that is just fine.
