Went to a farm auction south of Greely, Colorado yesterday. There were 2 656's, both diesel, 3 856's and 1 5088. One 656 had a Dual loader with a grapple-it brought 3200. It needed some work, as there were a lot of oil puddles under it. The other 656 had a turbo on it, and it need work on the injector pump and the hydraulic valves, as they were both leaking. It brought 2850. The first 856 brought 5000-didn't see any kind of leaks on it. The 2nd 856 did need some engine work,as the engine was knocking when they fired it up. It brought 2900. The 3rd 856 brought 3400- ran well, and didn't see any leaks. The 5088 brought 9500-ran well All the tractors averaged between 6000 to 9000 hrs.
