I have been playing around with my '48 and have noticed that the carb will get ice on in around the butterfly and governor connection and right up to the manifold. It's been about 30 out and it has been run for about 5-10 mins at a time while I'm making some adjustments. Is that normal?
Second question, it seems almost every time I start it water droplets are sprayed out for a few seconds then no more. Is that normal or is my head gasket leaking? Theres currently no water or coolant in the block as I'm repairing the lower radiator tube
