An M is 2 inches wider that an H. Yes, you can drill new holes in the frame and make it fit, but then there is the issue of the steering arm that bolts to the bolster. The M and the H are different there also, and the steering arms will not interchange.
Also, if you find one that WILL fit, look it over extremely close. Every used wide front I have looked at recently is worn out, and by the time you buy the parts needed to make it 100% solid again, you will be very close to the price of a brand Schwartz.
