Just to make sure we are referring to the same plug. Its the one near the bottom of the bowl pointed to the front of tractor when mounted on the engine. 361525R91 is a gasoline carburetor installed on early 300 tractors. 361525R92 is a gasoline carburetor installed on other 300 and on 350 tractors.
361525R92 came with a adjusting screw and nut and a few other changes in metering compared to a 361525R91.
Sometime in 1955 IH had a service bulletin that they wanted all the 361525R91 carburetors changed to R92. Enough change over kits with instructions were made to change over all R91 carburetors sold.
Some never were changed and one shows up ever now and then. Also find some changed without the ID number tag changed.
If yours runs okay don't worry about it. Mostly done for supposedly better fuel economy.
Those carburetors used a idle jet with a .021 orifice hole. Most M came with a .025 hole. Think H used one in between. Don't hold me to the sizes since just going by memory. Could look if needed. May be able to use any of the sizes and adjust the idle air to compensate, depending on other variables .
