Plows could be ordered with different bottoms for different parts of the country. Some bottoms did a good job where the land was flat, but didn't work well on hillsides. Talk with your local dealer or a older farmer to see what kinds of bottoms work well in your area. I've used both mounted and semi mount plows and I like the fully mounted plows, but you need to add wieght to your front end when using them.
