Tyler, I've got this gasket waiting to go on mine also. I'd bet the same cork gasket fits both engines. I've run into this valve cover style in the past and it can be tricky to get leak free especially if someone has over torqued the two nuts warping the cover. Here is what's worked for me in the past. Clean both the cover and head well. Check the cover edge for flatness by placing it on something flat like a sheet of glass or plywood. Bend, twist or beat it straight. If it's warped there are two choices; replace it or glue it down with an silicone type gasket glue. Assuming it's flat, lightly grease both sides of a new gasket and lay it on the head. Place the cover and lightly and evenly tighten the two nuts. If a torque value were spec'ed it would be in inch pounds so as not to warp the cover. Run it awhile and look for leaks. If it leaks, maybe try tightening a little more. If still leaking, remove it again, clean off the grease with solvent and this time use a light skim of silicone sealant on both sides. I like to avoid the sealer unless it is really needed. By the way, anyone know if this cover goes on either way or is there a front and back? The difference would be which side of the head the oil filler tube duct dumps the oil onto, straight down the pushrod holes or onto the valves. Good Luck, David

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
