Hi Tlyer, I have a Dodge PW with a 400 and that is one of the worst engines to keep oil from leaking out of the valve covers. What I found that works best was to use a "thin" coat permatex red or copper RTV letting it set about 1/2hr before assyembling and on both sides of the gasket, then only snug the bolts, let dry over night then retighten "very lightly" and knock on wood, no leaks in 175000 miles. Before using this method I was always smelling oil smoke. T_Bone
