My 806 did that for a year (first year I owned it) thought it was just worn out front end because most of it was loose. Then second summer it took off into the ditch while driving down the road and I had no control at all over the steering. Turned out it was a plugged filter starving the steering pump. Yes I should've changed the filter when I bought it but know the guy I bought it from and he usually takes care of that kind of thing so didn't think about it. Now whenever it starts to drift I change the filter and the problem stops.
