I'm attempting to find a replacement for the input yoke/shaft seal on the Behlen road gear for my F-20. (For those of you who have seen one, you know it's an oddball seal, with an inner lip that's offset from the outer metal ring by about 3/4".) I've taken measurements of the existing seal (which has no part number on it) and tried to find a match on the internet and at my local NAPA dealer, with no success.
So, I have three questions:
1) Has anybody ever found an exact match for this seal?
2) If not, has anybody found another seal (without the odd lip/outer ring offset) that works just as well?
3) If not, does anybody know of a seal manufacturer that I should contact? (I tried the SKF lookup at http://www2.chicago-rawhide.com/popup_parts_lookup_457010.htm, with no success)
