Hi kirk, It can still be coming from the sump as we have to use dishsoap when running dredges for gold to break the natural oil tenssion on the gold particles. It will pick-up gold and float it right off the groswer bars. Gold is the heaviest metal. The internal pump is an aluminum housing. From the picture of the filter housing it could be from any componet in the system. You might want to take a long screw driver and put the blade on the part and put the handle to your ear as any grinding will be heard. I would start on the transmission housing. T_Bone
