HI I have one apart now. There is no pin or stud to realign. The casting is heavy maybe 80#, or more. Under the seat are threaded holes. Get some bolts to fit and you have a spot to hitch an engine hoist, block & tackle, whatever. Before lifting, try to move the casting sideways. You may be able to save the gasket to re-use. Hit a piece of wood on the casting with a 12# hammer, not hard, just a good thump or 2 on each corner. Budget a new gasket as the "in a tube" stuff will most likely leak somewhere. Get some threaded rod with same thread as main mounting bolts. Use 4- 8 inch sections (on the corners)just finger tight to hold the gasket in place. Then lower the tank down over the threaded rods. Then put in the other 8 bolts, then remove rods and put in corner bolts, tighten up. Oh yeah, number the bolts as you remove them as there are different lengths. d
