Yes, and in some countries the tractors were sold under the Deering name. Meanwhile the International name (only) was used both domesticly and abroad for industrial versions. A whole book could be written just on IH's use of various trade names at different times and locations. But in this case I believe the original question was on standard tread farm tractors built in the US for US sales. In that case, the 1949 year stands.
