I always rolled the TA section ahead with the engine. The only down side to doing it that way is when it comes to adjusting the end play of the pto lower shaft bearing. Most of the tractors I was doing at that time were not all that old so most of them you checked before disassembly and if there was no bearing replacement required on that gear and shaft it was simple. If the bearing needs replacement you need to work through the bottom to adjust the clearance after the front section is bolted back together to rear and that is a pain.
