TAKE THE WIRE LOOSE FROM THE PLUS SIDE OF COIL.TAKE A JUMPER AND HOOK DIRECTLY TO PLUS SIDE OF BAT. FROM THE PLUS SIDE OF COIL. TRY AND START. IF THIS DOESNT WORK, REMOVE CAP, OPEN POINTS TO OPEN, TAKE A SCREWDRIVER AND SHORT ACROSS POINT AT GAP. SHOULD HAVE SPARK. IF NO SPARK, BAD COIL. IF SPARK, FIRE IS TO POINTS. PUT CAP BACK ON,PUT COIL WIRE IN,TAKE PLUG WIRE NO. 1,PUT SCREWDRIVER IN END OF WIRE, AND GROUND NEAR MOTOR. SHOULD HAVE BLUE SPARK JUMPAGE. MAKE SURE COMPRESSION ON NO 1 CYL IS WITH PLUG WIRE NO.1 ON CAP. SOMEONE COULD HAVE JUST WIRED AROUND ON CAP AND FOUND NO. 1. MAKE SURE IT IS WIRED CORRECTLY ON CAP TO CORRESPOND PLUG. IF THIS DOESNT WORK, CLOSE POINTS TO ABOUT 15 GAP AND PLUGS ON 13 GAP.IF YOU HAVE COMPRESSION,GAS,AND FIRE, SHOULD START EASILY.
